Why did you have to leave without saying goodbye, it is so hard to see your children cry.
They sit and look out the window at the sky, and cry Daddy why?
I have no real answers for them son, excepy you can always be proud of what your Dad had always done.
I tell them what a giver you always were, and in your love they could always be sure.

I remember when you were 3 and you looked up at me with those big brown eyes and said Mom when I grow up I want to be a serviceman. Ryan that was a hard pill for your Mom to swallow because I had just lost your brother Hunter. Well, I believe you should become what you want to as an adullt and I helped you be creative through the years. I use to love helping you make forts in the living room, and thw time you made an ariel for your army men to go down was awesome. It's been a month since you left us and I and your Dad miss you more and more each day.

Dad I will miss 4 - wheeling with you in the mud. My favorite was going out in the canoe fishing. 
I watched a video of you when you went to Iraq and I was still in Mommies belly.Love your son Devon
When you were about 2 you use to push a chair up to the kitchen counter, climb up, wrap your blankie around you like a cape and run across and jump off and yell, look at me I am Superman!
